July 18, 2018 - Driver Spotlight: Matthew Knight
1The Red Clay Series 602 Late Models is proud to showcase our first driver spotlight presented by Truform Race Products. Today we will shine the light on Villa Rica, Georgia native Matthew Knight.

Matthew has been racing for a little over 4 years now, He began his career in a clip car that his dad had and has accumulated several wins over the last couple of years. Which led him to take on the series as a challenge of new tracks and stiffer competition.

When talking to Matthew he made it very clear that he wants to continue his growth in racing by learning everything he can and advancing through the classes as best as he can. With hopes of being at the top of the sport one day.

His favorite memory would have to be the night he and his brother, Ryan Knight, ran side by side for 25 laps and any time he gets to race against his dad.

Matthew would like to thank his hero, dad Mark Knight, who is a local hot shoe in his own right, for teaching him everything he can and supporting him. His mom, Rhonda for her support and his girlfriend Alexis. His sponsors Anthony Hill Grading, Fairplay Towing, RPI and Design Twenty Three for there help in keeping him on the track.
